One Too
One.
Finally.
I understand
You taught me. You've shown me.
Being
as one.
Boundaries, barriers, blurring.
for the mere moments of oneness I'd want forever flowing
were it not for the chance
to pull back just enough
to see your face clearly
Angles ever shifting
to see the changes in your eyes
the smallest muscles move your expressions
I love this too
But bliss for moments of oneness.
Flowing
Open
to you
Flowing into me
Effortlessly
breathing in your breath
Inhaling your scent
Following your warm eyes is
entering
a home I've never known.
Wordless. Your home behind your eyes.
Welcome
Merging
like the waves lapping
the shores of a beach
ebbing and flowing
changing landscapes
Where does water end and become sand
i want to stay in this place with you forever
Tide pushing and pulling
becoming one
element
water
sand
life
one
with
you

Interesting poem. I especially like this section:
Following your warm eyes is
entering
a home I've never known.
Wordless. Your home behind your eyes.
Welcome
Merging
like the waves lapping
the shores of a beach
ebbing and flowing
changing landscapes
Good use of form and imagery there. These two lines are strong and effective for this piece: Wordless. Your home behind your eyes.
Welcome.
That really works. Thanks for posting.
Thank you Sam.
I appreciate your detailed comments.
Gives me the courage to share this poem.
